The U.S. State agencies: America will not accept North Korea as a nuclear power
Said U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, after his meeting with the Foreign Minister of South Korea, Friday, that the United States will never accept North Korea as a nuclear power, and they rise to the defense of Seoul if necessary.
He told a news conference: "We are all united in that North Korea will not be accepted as a nuclear power."
Kerry visited Seoul before heading to China and Japan, in an attempt to curb the nuclear ambitions of North Korea, after threats from Pyongyang for more than a month that it would launch attacks on the United States and South Korea if it was attacked.
